Back-to-School Assistance
Since 2020, Stone of Help has provided Back-to-School Assistance to Glassmanor Elementary School. At the beginning of each school year, Stone of Help provided 150 back packs with school supplies to Glassmanor Elementary School along with 150 $50 Target gift cards for school uniforms.
Emergency Utility Assistance Program
Emergency Utility Assistance Program was launched in 2022 to support housing needs during COVID-19. SOH is partnering with another community-based non-profit with housing counseling and support experience to implement a utility assistance program. Housing Options & Planning Enterprises, Inc.
Caregivers Program
Starting in 2022, Stone of Help Community Development Corporation (SOH) has provided support to Hands of Hope Caregivers Foundation, Inc., (HOHCF) to coordinate efforts for the purpose of providing education, information, and support to persons caring for a loved one. The mission and goal of HOHCF is to provide a high level of support for caregivers, and to ensure that individuals that provide care have the resources and support to ensure they can provide the care indefinitely.
Go Get Our Daughters
Go Get Our Daughters centered around Focus. Camp Letts team building program allowed the girls to participate in activities that utilized skills that would enable them to understand the importance of being focused and the skills needed to do so. The day at Camp Letts created a foundation of communication and trust, teambuilding, and self- confidence and help the girls develop new skills through challenging activities that were fun and raised the overall understanding of the importance of participation and supporting each other.
